1. Prepare the UPS: Ensure the UPS is powered off and disconnected from the main power source. If hot-swapping, ensure the UPS supports this feature and follow specific hot-swap procedures.
2. Access the Battery Compartment: Open the front panel or access door of your UPS to expose the battery compartment.
