5. Oppsett

5.1 Koble til en TV

To connect your DVD recorder to a television, choose one of the following connection methods:

1. Component Video Connection (Recommended for best quality):

   Connect the Component Video Output (Y, Pb, Pr) jacks on the DVD recorder to the corresponding Component Video Input jacks on your TV using component video cables. Connect the Audio L/R Output jacks on the DVD recorder to the Audio L/R Input jacks on your TV using audio cables.
2. A/V (Composite Video) Connection:

   Connect the Video Output jack on the DVD recorder to the Video Input jack on your TV using a composite video cable (yellow). Connect the Audio L/R Output jacks on the DVD recorder to the Audio L/R Input jacks on your TV using audio cables (red and white).

5.2 Strømtilkobling

Plug the supplied power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the DVD recorder, then plug the other end into a standard AC wall outlet.

6. Bruksanvisning

6.1 Grunnleggende avspilling

1. Turn on your TV and select the correct input source for the DVD recorder.
2. Trykk på MAKT button on the unit or remote control to turn on the DVD recorder.
3. Trykk på ÅPNE/LUKK -knappen for å åpne diskskuffen.
4. Place a DVD or CD disc onto the tray with the label side facing up.
5. Trykk på ÅPNE/LUKK -knappen igjen for å lukke skuffen. Avspillingen starter vanligvis automatisk. Hvis ikke, trykk på SPILLE knapp.

6.2 Recording to DVD-R/RW

1. Insert a blank DVD-R or DVD-RW disc into the disc tray.
2. Select the input source you wish to record from (e.g., TV tuner, Front A/V input). Use the INNGANGSVELG knappen på fjernkontrollen eller frontpanelet.
3. Trykk på REKORD -knappen for å starte opptaket. Opptaksindikatoren vil lyse.
4. Trykk på for å stoppe opptaket STOPPE knapp.
5. Opptaksmoduser: Access the menu to select from 6 available recording modes, which determine the recording quality and duration on the disc.

6.3 Ferdigstille plater

For recorded DVD-R/RW discs to be playable on other DVD players, they must be finalized. The Emerson EWR10D5 features auto finalizing. Refer to the on-screen menu for manual finalizing options if needed.

6.4 Foreldrelås

The parental lock feature allows you to restrict playback of certain content based on rating levels. Access this feature through the system settings menu and follow the on-screen prompts to set a password and desired restriction level.
