Introduksjon
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Emerson 1F89-0211 Non-Programmable Thermostat. This thermostat is designed for use with heat pump systems (2 Heat / 1 Cool) and is compatible with Oil/gas/electric and millivolt applications. Its simple design offers reliable temperature control without complex programming.

Installasjon
Sikkerhetsregler
- Slå av strømmen to the heating/cooling system at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel before installation.
- This thermostat operates on 24 VAC or Millivolt systems. Ensure compatibility with your HVAC system.

Monteringssted
Installer termostaten på en innervegg, omtrent 1.5 meter over gulvet. Velg et sted med god luftsirkulasjon, unna direkte sollys, trekk eller varmekilder (f.eks.amps, appliances, fireplaces).
Kablingsinstruksjoner
- Slå av strømmen to the heating/cooling system.
- Fjern den gamle termostaten fra veggen.
- Label the wires connected to your old thermostat with the corresponding terminal letters before disconnecting them.
- Mount the new thermostat base plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Connect the labeled wires to the appropriate terminals on the new thermostat. Refer to the wiring diagram specific to your heat pump system (typically found in your HVAC system's manual or by consulting a professional).
- Insert the two AA batteries into the battery compartment.

Operasjon
The Emerson 1F89-0211 thermostat features a simple interface for controlling your home's temperature.
Systembryter
The system switch allows you to select the operating mode for your HVAC system.
- KUL: Aktiverer kjølesystemet.
- AV: Slår av både varme- og kjølesystemer.
- VARME: Aktiverer varmesystemet.
Viftebryter
The fan switch controls the operation of your system's fan.
- PÅ: Viften går kontinuerlig, uavhengig av om varme- eller kjølesystemet er aktivt.

Temperaturjustering
Bruk Up (▲) og Ned (▼) arrow buttons on the right side of the thermostat to adjust the desired temperature setting. The current temperature and set temperature will be displayed on the 2-inch LCD screen.

Batteribytte
The thermostat is dual-powered (hardwired or battery powered). If using batteries, replace the two AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Trekk termostathuset forsiktig vekk fra veggplaten.
- Ta ut de gamle AA-batteriene.
- Sett inn to nye AA alkaliske batterier, og sørg for at polariteten (+/-) er riktig.
- Klikk termostathuset tilbake på veggplaten.
Rengjøring
Rengjør termostatens utside med en myk, tørr klutamp klut. Ikke bruk skurende rengjøringsmidler eller løsemidler.
