2. Oppsett og første gangs bruk

2.1 Utpakking og innhold

Carefully unpack the violin case from its packaging. Inspect the case for any signs of damage. The package should contain the following items:

• Swivel type holder (integrated)
• Bow holder (integrated)
• Detachable accessory pocket
• 2 detachable neoprene rucksack straps
• Protection blanket
• Address card compartment (integrated)

2.2 Attaching Rucksack Straps

The case comes with two detachable neoprene rucksack straps for comfortable carrying. Locate the D-rings on the back and sides of the case. Attach the clips of the straps to these D-rings. Adjust the strap length for a comfortable fit.

3. Betjening av etuiet

To open the case, locate the zippers running along the perimeter. Unzip both zippers completely. The lid will hinge open, revealing the interior. To close, align the lid with the base and zip both zippers securely. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zippers.

3.2 Placing the Violin

Gently place your 1/8 size violin into the main compartment. The cushioned suspension system is designed to hold the instrument securely. Ensure the violin rests properly within the molded interior without excessive force. Place the included protection blanket over the violin before closing the lid.

3.3 Using Bow Holders

The case features GEWA's patented swivel and flexible bow holders located inside the lid. To secure a bow, gently slide the frog end into the flexible holder and the tip into the swivel holder. Ensure the bow is firmly held to prevent movement during transport.

3.4 Accessory Compartment

A detachable accessory pocket is provided for storing rosin, tuners, or other small items. Place the accessory pocket into its designated space within the case. The attached sheet music pocket is located on the exterior of the case for easy access to your scores.

4. Vedlikehold og stell

The interior velour lining can be gently vacuumed with a soft brush attachment to remove dust or debris. For spills, dab with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Ensure the interior is completely dry before placing your violin back inside to prevent moisture damage.

When storing the case for extended periods, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. This helps preserve the integrity of the thermoplastic shell and interior materials.

5. Feilsøking

5.1 Problemer med glidelås

If a zipper becomes stiff or difficult to operate, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or graphite to the teeth. Avoid forcing the zipper, as this can cause damage. Ensure no fabric is obstructing the zipper path.

If the rucksack straps feel uncomfortable, adjust the length using the buckles. Ensure both straps are adjusted evenly to distribute weight properly and prevent strain.

5.3 Instrument Fit
