4. Oppsett

4.1. Installasjon av batteri

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom or back of the device.
  2. Insert four 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Lukk batteridekselet godt.
  4. Hvis batterisymbolet vises på displayet, må du bytte ut alle batteriene.

4.2. Tilkobling av mansjetten

  1. Insert the air tube connector of the cuff firmly into the cuff socket on the left side of the monitor.
  2. Sørg for at tilkoblingen er sikker for å forhindre luftlekkasje under målingen.

5. Bruksanvisning

5.1. Før måling

  • Unngå å spise, røyke eller trene i minst 30 minutter før måling.
  • Rest for 5-10 minutes in a quiet environment before taking a measurement.
  • Sitt komfortabelt med ryggen støttet og føttene flatt på gulvet. Ikke kryss beina.
  • Plasser armen på en flat overflate slik at mansjetten er i hjertehøyde.
  • Fjern tettsittende klær fra overarmen.

5.2. Påføring av mansjetten

  1. Plasser mansjetten på den bare overarmen, omtrent 2–3 cm over albueleddet.
  2. Ensure the artery mark on the cuff aligns with your brachial artery (on the inside of your arm).
  3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, but not too tightly. You should be able to insert two fingers between the cuff and your arm.

5.3. Tar en måling

  1. Trykk på PÅ/AV button to turn on the monitor. The display will show all segments briefly.
  2. Once the display shows "0", begin inflating the cuff by repeatedly squeezing the inflation bulb.
  3. Inflate the cuff until the pressure displayed is about 30 mmHg higher than your usual systolic pressure. If you don't know your usual pressure, inflate to 180-200 mmHg.
  4. Stop inflating. The device will automatically deflate the cuff slowly and measure your blood pressure.
  5. Når målingen er fullført, vil systolisk trykk, diastolisk trykk og pulsfrekvens vises.
  6. Trykk på PÅ/AV button to turn off the device. If you forget, it will automatically shut off after approximately 1 minute.

6. Forstå lesningene dine

Your blood pressure monitor displays three values:

  • Systolisk trykk (SYS): Det øverste tallet, som angir trykket når hjertet ditt slår.
  • Diastolisk trykk (DIA): Det nederste tallet, som angir trykket når hjertet hviler mellom slagene.
  • Puls: Your heart rate per minute.

The Microlife BP A80 also features a WHO (World Health Organization) blood pressure classification indicator on the display, which uses a color scale to help you interpret your readings:

Kategori Systolisk (mmHg) Diastolisk (mmHg) Indikatorfarge
Optimal < 120 < 80 Grønn
Normal 120-129 80-84 Lysegrønn
Høy Normal 130-139 85-89 Gul
Grad 1 hypertensjon 140-159 90-99 Oransje
Grad 2 hypertensjon 160-179 100-109 Rød
Grad 3 hypertensjon ≥ 180 ≥ 110 Mørk rød

Note: This classification is a general guideline. Always consult your doctor for interpretation of your blood pressure readings.
