1. Introduksjon og overview

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Scheppach SG2000 Inverter Power Generator. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the generator to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

The Scheppach SG2000 is a compact and portable inverter generator designed to deliver stable electrical power. Its inverter technology produces a clean sine wave, making it safe for sensitive electronic devices such as computers, televisions, and smartphones. It is suitable for various applications including camping, outdoor events, and as an emergency power source.

2. Sikkerhetsinstruksjoner

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions can result in serious injury, death, or property damage.

• Karbonmonoksidfare: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operate the generator outdoors only, far away from windows, doors, and vents. Never operate indoors, in a garage, or in any enclosed space.
• Brannfare: Gasoline is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the generator or fuel. Store fuel in approved containers.
• Fare for elektrisk støt: Ikke bruk generatoren i våte forhold. Sørg for at alle elektriske tilkoblinger er tørre og sikre. Berør aldri elektriske komponenter med våte hender.

• Motor: Air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke petrol engine (105.6 cm³, 2.86 hp).
• Drivstofftank: 3.2-liter capacity for unleaded gasoline.

• AC-uttak: Two 230V AC outlets with overload protection.
• DC Outlet: One 12V DC outlet for battery charging.

4. Oppsett

Before first use, perform the following steps:

1. Utpakking: Ta generatoren forsiktig ut av emballasjen. Undersøk om den har noen transportskader.
2. Tilsett motorolje: The generator is shipped without engine oil. Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and add the recommended amount of 4-stroke engine oil (refer to specifications for type and capacity). Do not overfill. Securely replace the cap.
3. Legg til drivstoff: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not use old or contaminated fuel. Do not overfill the tank; leave space for fuel expansion. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened.
4. Plassering: Place the generator on a firm, level surface outdoors, in a well-ventilated area, away from combustible materials and at least 1 meter (3 feet) from buildings or other equipment.

5. Bruksanvisning

5.1 Starte motoren

1. Sørg for at generatoren står på en jevn overflate og at alle elektriske belastninger er frakoblet.
2. Vri drivstoffventilen til "PÅ"-posisjonen.
3. Flytt chokehendelen til "CHOKE"-posisjonen (for kaldstart).
4. Vri motorbryteren til "ON"-posisjonen.
5. Grip tak i starthåndtaket og trekk det sakte til du kjenner motstand, trekk deretter raskt og jevnt. Gjenta til motoren starter.
6. Når motoren starter, flytt chokehendelen gradvis til "RUN"-posisjonen.

5.2 Tilkobling av elektriske apparater

• La motoren gå i noen minutter for å stabilisere seg.
• Plug in your electrical devices to the 230V AC outlets or use the 12V DC outlet for battery charging.
• Ikke overskrid generatorens nominelle effekt.tage (1600W continuous, 2000W peak). Overloading will activate the overload protection, shutting off power to the outlets.

5.3 Stoppe motoren

1. Koble fra alle elektriske belastninger fra generatoren.
2. La motoren gå i noen minutter uten belastning for å kjøle seg ned.
3. Vri motorbryteren til «AV»-posisjon.
4. Vri drivstoffventilen til «AV»-posisjon.

6. Vedlikehold

Regelmessig vedlikehold sikrer optimal ytelse og forlenger levetiden til generatoren. Utfør alltid vedlikehold med motoren av og avkjølt.

• Motorolje: Sjekk oljenivået før hver bruk. Skift olje etter de første 20 driftstimene, deretter hver 50.–100. time eller årlig.
• Luftfilter: Clean the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
• Tennplugg: Kontroller tennpluggen hver 100. time eller årlig. Rengjør eller skift ut etter behov.
• Drivstoffsystem: Drain the fuel tank and carburetor if storing the generator for more than 30 days to prevent fuel degradation.
• Generell rengjøring: Keep the generator clean and free of dirt and debris.
