Oppsett og installasjon
The Winegard RZ-6000 Rayzar z1 antenna is designed for roof-mount installation on RVs and campers. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to your vehicle.

Choose a clear, flat area on your RV roof, free from obstructions, for optimal signal reception. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure it is free of dirt, debris, and moisture. This will ensure proper adhesion of sealant.
Step 2: Mount the Antenna Unit
Position the antenna unit and mark the screw holes. Drill pilot holes as necessary. Apply a generous amount of approved RV roof sealant around the base of the antenna before securing it with the provided screws. Ensure a watertight seal around all mounting points.

Step 3: Connect Coaxial Cable
Route the coaxial cable from the antenna unit through the RV roof to your TV's antenna input. If your RV has an existing antenna wiring system, connect the antenna to the designated input. Ensure all coaxial connections are tight and secure. Connect the power inserter/amplifier in-line with the coaxial cable near your TV, if applicable, and plug it into a power source.

After installation and connecting the antenna to your TV, perform a channel scan to find available over-the-air broadcasts.

Vedlikehold
- Periodically inspect the antenna unit on the RV roof for any signs of damage, cracks, or loose connections.
- Clean the exterior of the antenna with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Check the sealant around the base of the antenna annually and reapply if necessary to maintain a watertight seal and prevent leaks.
- Ensure coaxial cables are not kinked or damaged, as this can affect signal quality.
Feilsøking
No Signal or Poor Reception
