Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack User Manual

Modell: 2960782

1. Introduksjon

This manual provides essential information for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Flight Pack. The T.16000M FCS has been designed for advanced fliers looking for comprehensive, realistic controls as an alternative to using a mouse and keyboard. The T.16000M FCS (Flight Control System) flight stick is compatible with PC via USB in Windows 10, 8, 7 and Vista (32-bit and 64-bit).

2. Nøkkelfunksjoner

  • The T.16000M FCS is compatible with PC via USB in Windows (32-bit and 64-bit).
  • The T.16000M FCS offers a precision level greater than current systems, which will not decrease over time, thanks to the joystick’s H.E.A.R.T technology (U.S. patent US08471815).
  • Fully ambidextrous joystick: 3 removable components allow the joystick to be perfectly tailored for left-handed or right-handed use.
  • The joystick includes 16 action buttons with “braille”-style physical button identification + one 8-way Point of View hat switch and 4 independent axes, including twist rudder (controlled by rotating the stick).
  • The T.A.R.G.E.T software allows you to load and create specific mapping profiles for hvert spill.

4. Oppsett

4.1. Koble til PC

Connect the USB cables from the joystick, throttle, and pedals to available USB ports on your PC. The T.16000M FCS is compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista (32-bit and 64-bit).

4.2. Ambidextrous Joystick Configuration

The T.16000M FCS joystick is designed to be fully ambidextrous. You can easily switch its configuration for left-handed or right-handed use. This involves adjusting three removable components: the thumb rest, the hand rest, and a small switch on the underside of the base.

  1. Carefully remove the thumb rest by gently pulling it off.
  2. Locate the screw securing the hand rest on the side of the joystick base. Unscrew it to detach the hand rest.
  3. Reattach the thumb rest and hand rest to the opposite side of the joystick, ensuring they click securely into place and the screw for the hand rest is tightened.
  4. Flip the joystick over and locate the "LEFT HANDED / RIGHT HANDED" switch on the underside of the base. Slide the switch to your desired hand orientation.

5. Operating Your Flight Pack

5.1. Betjening av joystick

The joystick provides precise control for pitch, roll, and yaw (via twist rudder). It features 16 action buttons and an 8-way Point of View hat switch. The "braille"-style physical identification on the buttons allows for tactile recognition, which is particularly useful in VR environments or during intense gameplay where looking away from the screen is not ideal.

5.2. TWCS Throttle Operation

The TWCS (Thrustmaster Weapon Control System) throttle offers smooth and precise control over your aircraft's thrust. It includes multiple buttons, a mini-stick, and a rudder control, allowing for comprehensive control without needing to reach for the keyboard.

5.3. TFRP Rudder Pedals Operation

The TFRP (Thrustmaster Flight Rudder Pedals) provide realistic rudder and braking control. The pedals offer smooth movement and can be adjusted for comfort. They are essential for precise yaw control and differential braking in flight simulations.
