3.2 Feste hjelpehåndtaket

The auxiliary handle provides additional control and stability during operation. To attach:

3.3 Innsetting og fjerning av bor/meisler

This tool uses SDS-Plus type bits. To insert:

1. Clean the shank of the drill bit or chisel.
2. Trekk tilbake chuckhylsen.
3. Sett biten inn i chucken til den klikker på plass.
4. Release the chuck sleeve. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked. There will be a slight play, which is normal for SDS-Plus systems.

4.1 Funksjonsvalg

The GY-RH-40040-1 offers three operating modes, selected via the mode selector switch located on the side of the tool:

• Drill Mode (Rotation Only): For drilling in wood, metal, and plastics without impact.
• Impact Drill Mode (Rotation with Hammering): For boring i betong, mur og stein.
• Hammer Mode (Hammering Only): For chiseling, chipping, and light demolition work. This mode also allows for angle adjustment of the chisel.

4.2 Trigger and Lock Button

• Starte verktøyet: Press the trigger switch. The tool features variable speed, meaning the speed increases with greater trigger pressure.
• Kontinuerlig drift: For extended use, press the lock button while the trigger is fully depressed. Release the trigger to stop continuous operation.
• Stoppe verktøyet: Release the trigger switch. If the lock button is engaged, press the trigger fully and then release it to disengage the lock.

4.3 Reversibel funksjon

A reversible switch (usually a lever near the trigger) allows you to change the direction of rotation. This is useful for removing jammed drill bits or driving/removing screws (with appropriate accessories).

Forsiktighet: Only change the direction of rotation when the tool is completely stopped.

4.4 Using the Depth Gauge

The depth gauge helps to drill holes to a precise depth. To set:
