Model: HCE-C1100

1. Introduksjon

This manual provides essential instructions for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your Alpine HCE-C1100 HDR Rear-View Camera. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure correct usage and to prevent damage.

The Alpine HCE-C1100 is designed to enhance vehicle safety by providing a clear rear-view image. It features High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology for improved visibility in varying light conditions and offers multiple viewing vinkler.

2. Sikkerhetsinformasjon

ADVARSEL: Unnlatelse av å følge disse sikkerhetsinstruksjonene kan føre til brann, elektrisk støt eller annen personskade eller materielle skader.

  • Always consult a professional for installation if you are not experienced with automotive electrical systems. Incorrect installation can damage the vehicle's electrical system or the camera.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the camera. This may cause damage and void the warranty.
  • Sørg for at all kabling er riktig ført og festet for å forhindre forstyrrelser i kjøretøyets drift eller skade fra bevegelige deler.
  • This product is intended as an aid to safe driving and does not replace the need for careful observation and judgment by the driver. Always check your surroundings directly before maneuvering your vehicle.
  • The camera is designed with IP68 water resistance. However, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the camera, such as during a car wash, as this may compromise the seal over time.

4. Oppsett og installasjon

Riktig installasjon er avgjørende for optimal ytelse. Det anbefales at installasjonen utføres av en kvalifisert fagperson.

4.1 Monteringssted

Velg et monteringssted som gir klar og uhindret sikt view of the rear of the vehicle. Common locations include above the license plate, on the rear bumper, or integrated into a vehicle-specific mount (sold separately).

4.2 Kablingstilkoblinger

  1. Strømtilkobling: Connect the camera's power wire to a 6.0V DC power source that is activated when the vehicle is in reverse. Ensure the ground wire is securely connected to the vehicle's chassis (negative ground type). The camera operates at 6.0V DC.
  2. Videotilkobling: Connect the RCA video output cable from the camera to the video input of your compatible monitor or head unit. The camera outputs a CVBS (NTSC Video Signal) mirror image.
  3. Kabelføring: Carefully route all cables to avoid pinching, abrasion, or interference with vehicle components. Use cable ties to secure wiring.

4.3 Innledende test

After installation, engage reverse gear (with the parking brake applied) to verify the camera image appears on your monitor. Adjust the camera angle if necessary to achieve the desired view.

5. Bruksanvisning

The Alpine HCE-C1100 camera automatically activates when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, displaying the rear view på den tilkoblede skjermen.

5.1 Høyt dynamisk område (HDR)

The camera utilizes HDR technology to provide a clear image even in challenging lighting conditions, such as direct sunlight or deep shadows. This feature automatically adjusts exposure and white balance to prevent overly bright or dark areas in the image.

5.2 Bred Viewing vinkel

The HCE-C1100 offers a wide viewing angle of approximately 131° horizontally and 125° vertically. This broad perspective helps in identifying obstacles and surroundings that might not be visible in standard mirrors.

5.3 Image Output

The camera outputs a mirror image, which is standard for rear-view applications to simulate a conventional rear-view mirror experience. The image is displayed in a 16:9 wide-screen format on compatible monitors.

6. Vedlikehold

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Alpine HCE-C1100 camera, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Rengjøring av linsen: Rengjør kameralinsen med jevne mellomrom med en myk klutamp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that could scratch the lens.
  • Vannmotstand: The camera has an IP68 water resistance rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While it is designed to withstand typical weather conditions, avoid prolonged submersion or direct high-pressure water spray, which can degrade the seal over time.
  • Kabelinspeksjon: Regularly inspect the cables for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Ensure all connections remain secure.
