1. Viktige sikkerhetsinstruksjoner

Please read this manual carefully before operating the dehumidifier and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Koble alltid apparatet til en jordet stikkontakt.

2. Produktet er overview

The Quigg® LE 2017.17 Dehumidifier is designed to reduce humidity levels in your home, preventing mold, mildew, and musty odors. It features a 5.5-liter water tank and options for continuous drainage.

3. Oppsett

3.1 Utpakking

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

3.2 Plassering

Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface in the area where humidity control is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow.

3.3 Strømtilkobling

Plug the power cord into a suitable grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage samsvarer med enhetens spesifikasjoner.

3.4 Vannavløpsalternativer

Avfukteren tilbyr to dreneringsmetoder:

1. Vanntank: The dehumidifier will collect water in its internal 5.5L tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off and an indicator light will illuminate. You must then manually empty the tank.
2. Kontinuerlig drenering: For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, connect a suitable drainage hose (not always included, check packaging) to the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.

4. Bruksanvisning

4.1 Kontrollpanel

The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and a digital display.

• Strømknapp: Slår enheten PÅ/AV.
• Modusknapp: Selects operating modes (e.g., continuous, automatic).
• Knapper for fuktighetsinnstilling (+/-): Justerer ønsket fuktighetsnivå.

4.2 Første drift

1. Koble til avfukteren.
2. Press the Power button to turn the unit on. The display will show the current room humidity.
3. Use the Humidity Setting buttons (+/-) to set your desired humidity level. A common comfortable range is between 40% and 60%.
4. The unit will start operating and the compressor will engage if the room humidity is higher than the set level.

4.3 Driftsmoduser

• Automatisk modus: The unit will automatically adjust its operation based on the set humidity level. It will cycle on and off to maintain the desired humidity.
• Kontinuerlig avfukting: In this mode, the unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level until the water tank is full or it is manually turned off. This mode is ideal for very damp environments or for drying laundry.

4.4 Timerfunksjon

Timerfunksjonen lar deg stille inn et bestemt tidspunkt for når enheten skal slå seg av eller på automatisk.

• Automatisk av: While the unit is running, press the Timer button to set the number of hours (e.g., 1-24 hours) after which the unit will turn off.
• Auto-på: While the unit is off, press the Timer button to set the number of hours after which the unit will turn on.

5. Vedlikehold

Regelmessig vedlikehold sikrer optimal ytelse og forlenger levetiden til avfukteren din.

5.1 Tømme vanntanken

When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the water tank from the back of the unit, empty the collected water, and then reinsert the tank firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the tank is properly seated to resume operation.

5.2 Rengjøre luftfilteret

Luftfilteret bør rengjøres annenhver uke eller oftere, avhengig av bruk og luftkvalitet.

1. Slå av avfukteren og trekk støpselet ut av stikkontakten.
2. Locate the air filter grille at the back of the unit.
3. Fjern filteret.
4. Rengjør filteret med en støvsuger eller vask det med varmt såpevann. Skyll grundig og la det lufttørke helt før du setter det inn igjen.
5. Reinsert the dry filter and close the grille.

5.3 Rengjøring av enhetens utside

Tørk av utsiden av avfukteren med en myk, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

5.4 Oppbevaring

Hvis avfukteren ikke skal brukes over en lengre periode:

1. Tøm vanntanken og sørg for at den er helt tørr.
2. Rengjør luftfilteret.
3. Trekk ut støpselet til enheten og rull strømledningen pent sammen.
4. Oppbevar avfukteren på et kjølig og tørt sted, helst i originalemballasjen.
