1. Introduksjon

Thank you for choosing the Rossmax Swiss Design X5 Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor. This device is designed for accurate and reliable measurement of blood pressure and pulse rate at home. It incorporates advanced PARR (Pulse Arrhythmia) technology for early detection of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib), Premature Contraction (PC), Tachycardia, and Bradycardia during regular blood pressure checks. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize the benefits of this device.

4. Oppsett

4.1 Installasjon av batteri

1. Åpne batteridekselet på baksiden av enheten.
2. Insert four (4) AA size batteries according to the polarity indicators (+ and -) inside the compartment.
3. Lukk batteridekselet godt.

Note: The device can also be powered by an optional AC adaptor (not included).

4.2 Cuff Connection

Insert the air plug of the cuff firmly into the air jack on the left side of the monitor. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leakage during measurement.

5. Bruksanvisning

5.1 Før måling

• Unngå å spise, drikke alkohol, røyke og trene i minst 30 minutter før måling.

• Ensure the cuff is applied directly to your bare arm, not over clothing.

5.2 Påføring av mansjetten

1. Slide the end of the cuff through the metal ring to form a loop. The smooth cloth should be on the inside of the cuff loop.
2. Place the cuff on your left upper arm so that the air tube runs down the inside of your arm.
3. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

5.3 Ta en måling

1. Trykk på Makt knappen for å slå på skjermen.
2. Mansjetten vil automatisk blåse seg opp. Forbli stille og taus under målingen.
3. Once the measurement is complete, the monitor will display your Systolic (SYS), Diastolic (DIA) blood pressure, and Pulse rate.
4. The display will also show indicators for PARR technology (ARR/AFib/PC) if detected.
5. Målingen lagres automatisk i enhetens minne.
6. The device will auto-shut-off approximately 1 minute after the last key operation.

5.4 Forståelse av displayindikatorer

• PULSE /min: Your pulse rate in beats per minute.
• ARR: Arrhythmia detection.
• AFib: Atrial Fibrillation detection.

• M: Memory indicator. The device stores 60 memories for each of two zones.

6. Vedlikehold

6.1 Rengjøring

• Clean the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth.
• Ikke bruk slipende rengjøringsmidler eller senk enheten i vann.

6.2 Oppbevaring

• Oppbevar enheten på et kjølig og tørt sted, unna direkte sollys og ekstreme temperaturer.
• Hvis enheten ikke skal brukes over lengre tid, må du ta ut batteriene for å forhindre lekkasje.
