This manual provides instructions for the proper use and maintenance of your Sharp EL-W531TL Scientific Calculator. Designed for students and professionals, this calculator performs over 420 advanced scientific functions and features WriteView Technology for clear display of equations.
1. Oppsett
1.1 Installasjon av batteri
The Sharp EL-W531TL calculator operates on one LR44 battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:

- Use a small screwdriver to remove the screw securing the cover.

1.2 Første gangs strøm på
Trykk på PÅ/C key to turn on the calculator. The display will show the default mode (e.g., DEG for degrees).

2. Bruksanvisning
2.1 Grunnleggende aritmetiske operasjoner
Perform basic calculations using the number keys and operation keys (+, -, ×, ÷). Pressen = for å vise resultatet.
- Addisjon: 5 + 3 = (Resultat: 8)
- Subtraksjon: 10–4 = (Resultat: 6)
- Multiplikasjon: 7 × 2 = (Resultat: 14)
- Inndeling: 15 ÷ 3 = (Resultat: 5)
2.2 Vitenskapelige funksjoner
The EL-W531TL offers over 420 scientific functions. Many functions are accessed by pressing the 2. klasse -tasten etterfulgt av ønsket funksjonstast.
- Trigonometriske funksjoner: Bruk synd, cos, tan keys. For inverse functions, press 2. klasse then the respective key (e.g., 2. klasse synd for sin-1).
- Logaritmer: Bruk logg (grunntall 10) og ln (naturlig logaritme) nøkler.
- Potenser og røtter: Bruk x² for kvadrering, √ for square root. For other powers, use yx.
- Brøker: Bruk ab/c key to enter and calculate fractions.
2.3 Minnefunksjoner
The calculator includes independent memory (M) and variable memories (A-F, X, Y).
- Store to Memory: Enter a value, then press STO followed by the desired memory key (e.g., STO M+ to store to M).
- Recall from Memory: Pressen RCL followed by the desired memory key.
- Tøm minne: Pressen M-CLR to clear all memories.
2.4 Modusvalg
Trykk på MODUS key to cycle through different calculation modes (e.g., Normal, Stat, Drill). Press CA to change angle units (DEG, RAD, GRAD).

3. Vedlikehold
3.1 Rengjøring
To clean the calculator, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the calculator, as this may damage the display or keys.
3.2 Batteribytte
When the display becomes dim or calculations are erratic, it is time to replace the battery. Refer to Section 1.1 for battery installation instructions. Always replace with a new LR44 alkaline battery.
3.3 Oppbevaring
Store the calculator in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.
4. Feilsøking
