3. Oppsett
3.1 Feste håndtaket og beskyttelsen
Ensure all components are present and undamaged before assembly. Attach the bike handle to the shaft, securing it firmly with the provided fasteners. Position the guard over the cutting head and fasten it securely to protect against debris.

3.2 Installing the Blade
To install the cutting blade, align the blade with the spindle and secure it using the provided washer and nut. Ensure the blade is seated correctly and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications to prevent loosening during operation. Refer to the diagram for proper orientation.

3.3 Installasjon av batteri
The XRU16Z operates on two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries (sold separately). Insert fully charged batteries into their respective slots until they click into place. Ensure they are securely seated before operating the tool.
3.4 Attaching the Harness
For comfortable and balanced operation, attach the included shoulder harness. Adjust the straps to distribute the tool's weight evenly across your shoulders and back. This helps reduce fatigue during prolonged use.

4. Bruksanvisning
4.1 Slå på og velge hastighet
To power on the brush cutter, press the main power button. Use the speed selector switch on the handle to choose between the three available speed settings (4,600/5,500/7,000 RPM). The variable speed trigger allows for fine control over the cutting speed during operation.

4.2 Using the Reverse Rotation Function
If the cutting blade becomes entangled with grass or weeds, activate the reverse rotation function. This feature helps to quickly clear obstructions from the trimmer head without manual intervention. Consult the control panel diagram for the reverse button location.
4.3 Skjæreteknikker
Hold the brush cutter firmly with both hands, maintaining a balanced stance. Use a sweeping motion to cut through vegetation. For dense brush, approach gradually, allowing the blade to cut through the material without forcing it. Always keep the blade away from your body and other individuals.
5. Vedlikehold
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your brush cutter. Always disconnect batteries before performing any maintenance.

Inspect the blade for damage or dullness before and after each use. A dull blade reduces cutting efficiency and can strain the motor. Sharpen the blade as needed using a hand file, maintaining the original cutting angle. Replace severely damaged or bent blades immediately.
