1. Introduksjon

Thank you for choosing the TecTake Offset Hexagonal Umbrella. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new umbrella. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.

2. Sikkerhetsinstruksjoner

• Always ensure the umbrella base is properly weighted and stable. This umbrella requires 4 base plates (40 x 40 cm, 25 kg each) for optimal stability.
• Ikke bruk paraplyen i sterk vind, kraftig regn eller andre uværsforhold. Lukk og sikre paraplyen for å forhindre skade eller personskade.
• Keep children and pets away from the umbrella during opening and closing operations.

4. Oppsett og montering

Follow these steps to assemble your TecTake Offset Hexagonal Umbrella:

1. Pakk ut komponenter: Ta forsiktig alle delene ut av emballasjen og legg dem på en ren, flat overflate.
2. Sett sammen basen: Connect the base components according to the diagrams in the separate assembly instructions. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
3. Add Base Weights: Place four 40 x 40 cm, 25 kg base plates onto the cross base to provide necessary stability. (Base plates are not included and must be purchased separately).
4. Fest hovedstangen: Insert the main pole into the assembled base. Secure it with the provided fasteners.
5. Mount the Umbrella Arm: Attach the offset umbrella arm to the main pole. Ensure the connection is firm and stable.
6. Unfold the Canopy: Gently unfold the umbrella canopy.

5. Bruksanvisning

5.1 Åpne paraplyen

1. Ensure the area around the umbrella is clear.
2. Finn sveivhåndtaket på hovedstangen.
3. Turn the crank handle clockwise to slowly open the umbrella canopy until it is fully extended. Do not force the crank if resistance is met.

5.2 Justering av tilt

1. Locate the tilt adjustment lever or button on the umbrella arm.
2. Press or release the mechanism and gently adjust the canopy to the desired angle.
3. Ensure the tilt mechanism is securely locked in place after adjustment.

5.3 Lukke paraplyen

1. Ensure the tilt is returned to its neutral position if applicable.
2. Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to slowly retract the umbrella canopy until it is fully closed.
3. Secure the closed canopy with the integrated strap or tie to prevent it from opening unexpectedly.

6. Stell og vedlikehold

• Rengjøring av kalesjen: Clean the polyester canopy with a mild soap solution and a soft brush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry completely before folding or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

• Smøring: Occasionally apply a silicone-based lubricant to the crank mechanism and moving joints to ensure smooth operation.

7. Oppbevaring

When not in use for extended periods, or during the off-season, store the umbrella in a dry, protected area. Ensure the canopy is clean and completely dry before covering it with the protective cover. Store the umbrella in its closed position.

8. Feilsøking

• Umbrella is unstable: Ensure the base is properly assembled and weighted with the recommended base plates. Check that all connections are tight.
• Vanskeligheter med å åpne/lukke: Check for any obstructions in the canopy or frame. Apply lubricant to the crank mechanism and moving joints if they feel stiff. Do not force the mechanism.
• Canopy not fully extending: Ensure the crank mechanism is fully engaged and there are no obstructions preventing full extension.
