4. Montering og oppsett
Before first use, some assembly may be required. Follow these general steps:

5. Drift
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Scheppach GS60 shredder:
- Preparat: Ensure the shredder is on a firm, level surface. Wear all recommended PPE.
- Starte makuleringsmaskinen: Press the green 'ON' button on the control panel. The motor should start.
- Feeding Material: Gradually feed branches and garden waste into the feed chute. Allow the machine to pull the material through. Do not force material into the chute.
- Materialtype: The shredder is suitable for branches up to 45mm in diameter and leafy material. Avoid feeding stones, metal, plastic, or other non-organic materials.
- Fjerne blokkeringer: If the shredder jams, immediately press the red 'OFF' button and disconnect the power. Use the reverse function if available (refer to Figure 4) or carefully clear the blockage using the provided refill plug or a suitable tool, never your hands.
- Samleboks: Monitor the collection box and empty it regularly to prevent overfilling and potential blockages.
- Stopping the Shredder: Press the red 'OFF' button to stop the motor. Disconnect the power supply after use.

6. Vedlikehold og rengjøring

Rengjøring
- Koble alltid fra strømforsyningen før rengjøring.
- Remove any accumulated debris from the feed chute, cutting mechanism, and discharge area using a brush or a non-metallic tool.
