5. Maskinvareinstallasjon

3. Insert your activated Nano-SIM card(s) into the tray(s) with the gold contacts facing down.

1. Connect the 4-pin power adapter to the power socket on the front panel.
2. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable power source (9-50 VDC).
3. The PWR LED should illuminate, indicating the device is receiving power.

5.4. Jording

For enhanced safety and protection against electrical surges, connect a grounding wire to the grounding screw on the side panel and to a proper earth ground.

1. Connect your computer to one of the RUTX14's LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.

3. You will be prompted for login credentials. The default username is admin. The default password is usually found on a sticker on the device or in the Quick Start Guide.
4. Upon successful login, you will access the WebUI for configuration.

7.3. GNSS/GPS Functionality

With the connected GNSS antenna, the RUTX14 can provide precise location data. This functionality is accessible and configurable through the WebUI, enabling applications such as fleet tracking or asset management.

7.4. Bluetooth-tilkobling

The integrated Bluetooth module allows for short-range wireless communication with compatible devices, enabling various IoT and industrial applications. Configuration options are available in the WebUI.

8. Vedlikehold

8.1. Fastvareoppdateringer

Regularly check for and install firmware updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features. Firmware updates can be performed via the WebUI under System > Firmware.

If you encounter persistent issues or forget your login credentials, you can perform a factory reset. Press and hold the RESET button for approximately 10 seconds while the device is powered on. This will revert all settings to their default values.
