Oppsett

1. Installasjon av batteri

Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Tilkobling av armmansjetten

Insert the air tube connector from the arm cuff firmly into the air jack on the left side of the monitor unit.

3. Setting Date and Time (if applicable)

Refer to the specific instructions in your manual for setting the date and time, usually involving pressing the 'MEM' button in a specific sequence while the unit is off or in setup mode.

Bruksanvisning

Forbereder for måling

• Unngå å spise, drikke alkohol, røyke eller trene i minst 30 minutter før måling.
• Hvil i minst 5 minutter før du tar en måling.
• Sitt oppreist med ryggen støttet og føttene flatt i gulvet.
• Plasser armen på en flat overflate slik at mansjetten er i hjertehøyde.
• Sørg for at mansjetten festes direkte på bar hud, ikke over klær.

Påføring av armmansjetten

1. Skyv venstre arm gjennom mansjettløkken. Luftslangen skal gå ned langs innsiden av armen.
2. Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 1 inch (2-3 cm) above your elbow.
3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, securing it with the hook and loop fastener. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

Tar en måling

1. With the cuff correctly applied and the unit connected, press the START knapp.
2. Mansjetten vil automatisk blåse seg opp. Forbli stille og taus under målingen.
3. Når målingen er fullført, vil mansjetten tømmes, og systolisk trykk, diastolisk trykk og pulsfrekvens vil vises på skjermen.
4. The unit will automatically store the reading in its memory.
5. Trykk på START button again to turn off the unit, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.

The SmartHeart monitor stores previous readings for easy review.

Viewlagrede avlesninger

• From the OFF state, press the MEM knapp.
• The most recent reading will be displayed first.
• Trykk på MEM button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
• The unit will display the average of the last three readings (if available) before showing individual readings.

Tømme minne

To clear all stored readings, press and hold the MEM button for approximately 5 seconds while in memory recall mode until "CLR" or "---" appears on the display, indicating memory has been cleared.

Vedlikehold og stell

• Clean the monitor unit and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
• Store the unit in its storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Do not drop or subject the unit to strong impacts.
