  • Hold hender og føtter unna bevegelige deler.
  • Inspiser maskinen for skader eller løse deler før hver bruk. Ikke bruk den hvis den er skadet.
  • Gjør deg kjent med kontrollene og nødstoppprosedyrene.

3. Oppsett og montering

The Scheppach HP1900S comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to prepare your vibrating plate for first use.

3.1 Utpakking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. The package includes the main vibratory plate unit, a driving device for transport, and a black rubber mat for paving work.

3.2 Håndtakssamling

Attach the handle to the main unit using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened. The handle is designed for ergonomic operation and control.

3.3 Driving Device Installation

The driving device (wheels) can be attached for easy transportation of the unit. Refer to the diagrams for correct attachment. This device allows one person to move the plate without excessive strain.

3.4 Drivstoff og olje

This machine is petrol-powered. Fill the fuel tank with unleaded petrol. Check the engine oil level and fill with the recommended engine oil type (refer to engine manual for specifics) to the appropriate mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

4. Bruksanvisning

4.1 Kontroller før bruk

  • Sjekk drivstoff- og oljenivåer.
  • Inspiser luftfilteret for renhet.
  • Sørg for at alle festemidler er stramme.
  • Verify the work area is clear and safe.

4.2 Starte motoren

  1. Åpne drivstoffventilen.
  2. Set the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (cold engine).
  3. Sett gasspaken til «RASK»-posisjon.
  4. Trekk godt i startsnoren til motoren starter.
  5. Når motoren starter, flytt chokehendelen gradvis til «RUN»-posisjon.
  6. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before beginning compaction.

4.3 Komprimeringsoperasjon

The HP1900S is designed for compacting soil, sand, gravel, and paving stones. Its automatic forward movement simplifies operation.

  • Soil/Sand Compaction: Position the plate on the area to be compacted. Guide the machine with the handle, allowing it to move forward at its operating speed of 25 m/min. Overlap passes to ensure uniform compaction. The machine achieves a compaction depth of 30 cm.
  • Paving Work: For compacting paving stones, attach the black rubber mat to the base plate. This prevents damage to the surface of the paving stones while ensuring effective compaction.
