1. Introduksjon
The SAMSUNG HW-Q700B 3.1.2ch Soundbar is designed to enhance your audio experience with immersive surround sound. Featuring Wireless Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and advanced sound technologies like Q-Symphony and SpaceFit Sound, this soundbar delivers dynamic and optimized audio for movies, music, and gaming. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your soundbar system.

2. Hva er i esken
Pakk lydplankesystemet forsiktig ut og sørg for at alle komponentene er til stede:
- SAMSUNG HW-Q700B Soundbar
- Trådløs subwoofer

- HDMI-kabel

3. Oppsett og installasjon
Follow these steps to set up your SAMSUNG HW-Q700B Soundbar for optimal performance.
3.1 Tilkobling av subwooferen
The wireless subwoofer automatically connects to the soundbar when both are powered on. If the connection is not established, manually pair them:
- Place the subwoofer in your desired location, ensuring it is within range of the soundbar.
- Connect the subwoofer's power cord to an electrical outlet.
- If the blue LED indicator on the subwoofer is not solid, press the ID SET button on the back of the subwoofer with a pointed object for 5-6 seconds until the indicator blinks quickly.
- With the soundbar powered off, press and hold the Up button on the soundbar's remote control for 5-6 seconds.
- The soundbar display will show 'ID SET' and then 'PAIRING'. Once connected, the subwoofer's blue LED will become solid.
3.2 Koble til TV -en
You can connect your soundbar to your TV using an HDMI cable (recommended for Dolby Atmos) or wirelessly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
HDMI eARC Connection (Recommended)
For the best audio quality, especially with Dolby Atmos, use an HDMI cable to connect to your TV's HDMI eARC/ARC port.
- Koble den ene enden av HDMI-kabelen til HDMI OUT (TV-eARC/ARC) port på lydplanken.
- Koble den andre enden av HDMI-kabelen til HDMI IN (eARC/ARC) porten på TV-en.
- Turn on the soundbar and TV. Ensure the TV's audio output is set to HDMI ARC/eARC.

Wireless Connection (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi)
For wireless audio, you can connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi connection offers higher quality audio and SmartThings app control.
- Bluetooth: Trykk på PAR button on the remote or the Kilde button on the soundbar until 'BT PAIRING' appears. On your TV, navigate to Sound Output settings and select your soundbar from the Bluetooth Speaker List.
- Wi-Fi (SmartThings App): Download and open the SmartThings app on your smartphone. Ensure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV. The app should detect the soundbar. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect and register your soundbar.

3.3 Veggmontering (valgfritt)
If you wish to wall-mount your soundbar, use the provided wall mount kit and follow these general steps:
- Determine the optimal mounting position below your TV.
- Use the wall mount guide (template) to mark the screw positions on the wall.
- Drill pilot holes and insert the wall anchors (if necessary).
- Attach the wall mount brackets to the soundbar using the provided screws.
- Securely mount the soundbar to the wall using the appropriate screws.
4. Bruksanvisning
Control your soundbar using the included remote, the SmartThings app, or voice commands.
4.1 Fjernkontrollfunksjoner
The remote control allows you to power on/off, adjust volume, change input sources, and select sound modes.
- Av/på (rød knapp): Slår lydplanken på eller av.
- Source (Square with arrow): Cycles through input sources (HDMI, BT, Wi-Fi, D.IN).
- Volum (+/-): Justerer hovedvolumnivået.
- Basshøyttaler (+/-): Justerer subwooferens volumnivå.
- Lydmodus: Selects different sound modes (Standard, Surround, Game Pro, Adaptive Sound).
- Stum: Demper eller slår på lyden.

4.2 Stemmekontroll
The soundbar has built-in voice assistant capabilities (e.g., Alexa) for hands-free control. Ensure your soundbar is connected to your home network and the voice assistant is configured through the SmartThings app.

5.7 AirPlay 2 & Tap Sound
Stream music directly from your iPhone or other iOS device using AirPlay 2. For compatible Samsung mobile devices, simply tap your phone to the soundbar to mirror music instantly with Tap Sound.

6. Vedlikehold
For å sikre at lydplanken din varer lenge og har optimal ytelse, bør du følge disse vedlikeholdsretningslinjene:
- Rengjøring: Bruk en myk, tørr klut til å rengjøre overflatene på lydplanken og subwooferen. Ikke bruk flytende rengjøringsmidler eller slipende materialer.
- Ventilasjon: Sørg for tilstrekkelig ventilasjon rundt lydplanken og subwooferen for å forhindre overoppheting. Ikke blokker noen ventilasjonsåpninger.
- Plassering: Avoid placing the soundbar or subwoofer in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity.
- Fastvareoppdateringer: Periodically check for firmware updates through the SmartThings app or Samsung's official website to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.
7. Feilsøking
Hvis du støter på problemer med lydplanken, kan du se følgende vanlige feilsøkingstrinn:
- Ingen strøm: Ensure both the soundbar and subwoofer are properly plugged into working power outlets. Check the power cords for any damage.
- Ingen lyd:
- Kontroller at riktig inngangskilde er valgt på lydplanken.
- Check the volume levels on both the soundbar and your TV.
- If using HDMI ARC/eARC, ensure your TV's audio output is set to HDMI ARC/eARC and the HDMI cable is securely connected.
- If using Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, ensure the connection is active and stable.
- Subwooferen kobler seg ikke til: Refer to Section 3.1 for manual subwoofer pairing instructions.
- Lydforvrengning: Try reducing the volume. Check for any physical obstructions around the speakers. Ensure the sound mode is appropriate for the content.
- Fjernkontrollen fungerer ikke: Check the remote control batteries and replace them if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the soundbar.
- Audio/Video Sync Issues: Some TVs or source devices may have audio delay settings that can be adjusted to synchronize audio and video.
