• Open the main gas supply valve slowly and re-check for leaks.

3.4 Electrical Connection (for Ignition)

4.1 Using the Hob Burners

1. Place a suitable cooking pot or pan centrally on the burner grate.
2. Push in and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the maximum flame setting (large flame symbol).
3. If your cooker has electronic ignition, the igniter will spark automatically. Hold the knob in for a few seconds after the flame ignites to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the flame failure device.
4. If using a manual igniter, hold a lit match or lighter to the burner while pushing in and turning the knob.
5. Once the flame is stable, release the knob. Adjust the flame size by turning the knob between the maximum and minimum settings.
6. To turn off, turn the knob clockwise to the "OFF" position (dot symbol).

Note: The Meireles G130W features three burners, including a wok burner for high-heat cooking. Use appropriate cookware for each burner size.

4.2 Using the Gas Oven

1. Open the oven door and ensure the oven is clean and free of obstructions.
2. Place the oven racks (2 provided) at the desired height.
