1. Introduksjon

Main Unit Controls and Ports:

• Strømknapp: Slår enheten på eller av.

5. Oppsett

Follow these steps for initial setup of your micro component system:

1. Høyttalertilkobling: Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
2. FM-antennetilkobling: If included, connect the FM antenna to the FM antenna jack on the rear of the main unit for improved radio reception. Extend the antenna fully for best results.
3. Strømtilkobling: Plug the power cord into the AC IN socket on the rear of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard AC wall outlet (120V ~ 60Hz).
4. Plassering: Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo sound, position the speakers equidistant from the listening area and spaced apart.

6. Bruksanvisning

6.1. Slå på/av

Trykk på MAKT -knappen på frontpanelet eller fjernkontrollen for å slå enheten av eller på.

6.2. Bruk av CD-spiller

1. Trykk på MODUS/FUNKSJON -knappen for å velge «CD»-modus.
2. Trykk på ÅPNE/LUKK for å åpne CD-skuffen.
3. Place a CD (audio CD, MP3 CD, CD-R, CD-RW) with the label side up into the tray.
4. Trykk på ÅPNE/LUKK button again to close the tray. The unit will begin reading the disc.
5. Pressen SPILL/PAUSE for å starte eller sette avspillingen på pause.
6. Bruk HOPP / SØK knapper for å navigere i spor.

6.3. Bluetooth-streaming

1. Trykk på MODUS/FUNKSJON -knappen for å velge «Bluetooth»-modus. Displayet vil vise «BT» og blinke, noe som indikerer at den er klar for paring.
2. På den Bluetooth-aktiverte enheten din (smarttelefon, nettbrett osv.) aktiverer du Bluetooth og søker etter tilgjengelige enheter.
3. Select 'SHARP XL-B512' from the list. Once paired, the 'BT' indicator will stop flashing.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the XL-B512 system. Use your device or the system's controls for playback.

6.4. USB-avspilling

1. Sett inn en USB-minnepinne som inneholder MP3-lyd fileinn i USB-porten på frontpanelet.
2. Trykk på MODUS/FUNKSJON -knappen for å velge «USB»-modus.
3. The unit will automatically begin playing the first compatible audio file.

6.5. FM-radioinnstilling

1. Trykk på MODUS/FUNKSJON -knappen for å velge «FM»-modus.

3. Press briefly to manually tune step-by-step.

6.6. Ekstra inngang (AUX)

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the front panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
2. Trykk på MODUS/FUNKSJON button to select 'AUX' mode.
3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the XL-B512 speakers.

6.7. Bruk av fjernkontroll

The included remote control provides full functionality for your system.

Ensure the remote control is pointed directly at the main unit's sensor. Insert two AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control, observing correct polarity.

6.8. Lydjusteringer

• Volum: Rotate the volume knob on the main unit or use the VOL +/- knappene på fjernkontrollen.
• Lydstyrkekontroll: Trykk på HØYT button on the remote to enhance bass and treble at low volume levels. Press again to deactivate.
• Equalizer (EQ): Trykk på EQ button on the remote to cycle through preset equalizer modes (e.g., Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz).

7. Vedlikehold

Proper care ensures the longevity of your system:

• Rengjøring: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth with a mild detergent solution and wipe gently. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD-pleie: Håndter CD-er i kantene. Rengjør skitne CD-er med en myk, lofri klut, og tørk av fra midten og utover.
• Lagring: When not in use for extended periods, unplug the unit from the power outlet. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
