1.1 Generell sikkerhet

2.1 Komponenter

3. Oppsett

3.1 Innledende rengjøring

1. Fjern alt emballasjemateriale.
2. Wash the water tank, portafilter, filters, measuring spoon, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Tørk utsiden av maskinen med adamp klut.

3.2 Fylle vanntanken

1. Remove the water tank from the back of the machine using its handle.
2. Fyll tanken med friskt, kaldt vann opp til MAX-linjen.

3.3 Klargjøre maskinen

Before first use, or if the machine has not been used for a long time, prime the system:

4. Press the 1-cup button. Water will flow through the portafilter. Let it run for about 30 seconds.

6. Turn the function knob back to the neutral position. The machine is now primed.

4.1 Lage espresso

1. Forvarm: Turn on the machine. Ensure the function knob is set to "Coffee". Wait for the indicator light to turn solid, indicating the machine is preheated.
2. Tilbered kaffe: Grind fresh coffee beans to a fine espresso grind. Fill the appropriate filter basket (1-cup or 2-cup) with ground coffee.
3. Tamp: Bruk tamper to press the coffee grounds firmly and evenly into the filter basket. Ensure the surface is level.

6. Brygge: Press the 1-cup or 2-cup button. The machine will begin brewing. The PID control system ensures optimal water temperature for extraction, and the pre-soak system moistens the grounds for uniform extraction.
7. Stopp: The machine will automatically stop brewing when the programmed volume is reached. You can manually stop brewing at any time by pressing the button again.

4.2 Skumme melk

1. Tilbered melk: Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (whole milk is recommended for best results).
2. Aktiver Steam: Turn the function knob to the "Steam" mode. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate, indicating the machine is ready to produce steam.
3. Rensepenn: Briefly open the steam valve to release any condensed water from the wand. Close the valve.
4. Skummelk: Immerse the tip of the steam wand just below the surface of the milk. Open the steam valve slowly. Move the pitcher up and down to create foam.
5. Slutt å dampe: Once the desired texture and temperature are achieved, close the steam valve and remove the pitcher.

5.1 Daglig rengjøring

• Dryppskål: Empty and clean the removable drip tray daily or when the red indicator knob appears.
• Dampstav: Always wipe the steam wand immediately after frothing milk. Purge the wand to clear any internal residue.

5.2 Rengjøring av vanntank

Clean the water tank weekly with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.

5.3 Avkalking

3. Remove the portafilter handle. Place a large water bowl under the coffee spout and another under the steam wand.
4. Press the 1-cup and 2-cup buttons simultaneously. The machine will begin the descaling cycle.
5. Allow the machine to complete the cycle, or continue cleaning until the water tank is empty.

7. Run several cycles of fresh water through the coffee spout and steam wand to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
