This manual provides instructions for the proper use and maintenance of your XOSS XL-800 Bike Headlight. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Oppsett

Montering av frontlykten

The XL-800 headlight can be installed using either the handlebar mount or the GoPro adapter.

1. Styrefeste: Secure the handlebar mount to your bicycle's handlebar. The headlight can then be quickly attached or removed from this mount.
2. GoPro-adapter: Attach the GoPro adapter to a compatible GoPro-style mount on your bike using the provided bolt. The headlight slides onto this adapter.

Initial Unlock Procedure

For the first use, the device is in a locked state. To unlock:

• Continuously press the power button tre ganger. The green light will flash three times to indicate the device is unlocked.
• Alternatively, connect the headlight to a power source using the USB-C charging cable. Charging the headlight once will also unlock it.

• Til switch between light modes, short press the power button while the light is on.

The XL-800 features 5 distinct light modes:

Lader frontlyset

The XL-800 uses a USB-C charging interface.

• Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headlight's charging port and to a standard USB power source.

• During charging, the power indicator light will flash red, blue, and green in sequence.
• When the green light remains steadily on, charging is complete.
• The power indicator allows you to monitor the real-time battery level.

Vedlikehold

• Rengjøring: Wipe the headlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the USB-C port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
• Lagring: Store the headlight in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
• Batteripleie: For å forlenge batterilevetiden, unngå å utlade batteriet helt ofte. Lad enheten regelmessig, selv om den ikke er i konstant bruk.
• Vannmotstand: The headlight is designed with life waterproof capabilities (IPX5 rating), meaning it can withstand splashes and light rain. It is not intended for submersion.

Feilsøking

• Lyset slår seg ikke på:
  • Ensure the device is unlocked (refer to "Initial Unlock Procedure").
  • Sjekk batterinivået og lad opp om nødvendig.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not a short press.
• Lyset lader ikke:
  • Verify the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the headlight and the power source.
  • Prøv en annen USB-C-kabel eller strømadapter.
  • Sørg for at ladeporten er ren og fri for rusk.
• Festet føles løst:
  • For handlebar mounts, ensure the strap is tightened securely.
  • For GoPro adapters, check that the bolt is tightened and the adapter is firmly seated.
