1. Carefully remove the adjustable base from its packaging. It is recommended to have two people for this step due to the weight of the unit.
2. Place the folded base in the desired location, ensuring adequate space around it for unfolding.

3. Unfold the base carefully.
4. Locate and cut any orange zip ties that secure moving parts during shipping. Ensure these are cut only after the base is in its final position and on its legs.
5. Install the mattress retainer bar at the foot of the bed to prevent the mattress from sliding.
