4. Bruksanvisning

4.1 Tire Changer (ME-T450) Operation

The ME-T450 tire changer is designed for efficient mounting and demounting of vehicle tires. Familiarize yourself with the foot pedal controls and the mounting head.

4.1.1 Demounting a Tire

1. Bead Breaking: Position the wheel on the bead breaker. Use the side-mounted bead breaker to separate the tire bead from the rim. Apply lubricant to the bead for easier separation.

2. Clamping the Wheel: Place the wheel on the turntable. Use the foot pedal to activate the clamping jaws, securing the wheel firmly. The turntable can clamp rims from 12"-20" externally and 22"-24" internally.

3. Demounting the Tire: Position the mounting head (duck head) at the edge of the rim. Use a tire lever to lift the tire bead over the mounting head. Rotate the turntable using the foot pedal to fully demount the tire.

4.1.2 Mounting a Tire

1. Smøring: Apply tire lubricant to both beads of the new tire.
2. Positioning the Tire: Place the bottom bead of the tire over the rim, ensuring it is below the mounting head.
3. Mounting the Tire: Use the tire lever to guide the top bead over the mounting head. Rotate the turntable to fully mount the tire onto the rim.
4. Inflasjon: Inflate the tire to the manufacturer's recommended pressure using the integrated inflation hose and gauge.
