5. Oppsett

The Baetaey Repeater WiFi Extender can be set up using two primary methods: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) or via a web browser/mobile app.

5.1. Plasseringsretningslinjer

For optimal performance, place the extender halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Ensure the location is within the range of your router's existing Wi-Fi signal.

5.2. WPS-oppsett (anbefales for raskt oppsett)

1. Koble utvideren til en stikkontakt i nærheten av ruteren.
2. Wait for the Power LED on the extender to turn solid blue.
3. Trykk på WPS-knappen på ruteren.
4. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the extender.

5.3. Web Nettleseroppsett

2. Connect your computer or mobile device to the extender's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Baetaey_Extender"). No password is required initially.
3. Åpne a web browser and enter the default IP address (usually 192.168.0.254 or check the label on the device) or the default web address (e.g., tplinkrepeater.net).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to create a login password and select your existing Wi-Fi network to extend.
5. Enter the password for your existing Wi-Fi network.

6. Driftsmåter

The Baetaey Repeater WiFi Extender supports two main operating modes:

6.1. Repeater Mode (Default)

In Repeater Mode, the extender wirelessly connects to your existing router and amplifies its signal to areas with weak or no Wi-Fi coverage. This is ideal for extending the range of your current network.

6.2. Tilgangspunktmodus (AP)

In AP Mode, the extender connects to your wired network via an Ethernet cable and transforms your wired connection into a wireless access point. This is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired-only network or creating a new Wi-Fi network in a specific area.

8.3. Unable to Access Web Administrasjonsside
