5. Oppsett

5.1 Battery Installation and Initial Use

  1. Battery Isolation: Before first use, open the battery cover and remove the paper piece isolating the battery. This prevents battery discharge during shipping.
  2. Lader: Connect the device to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included) using the provided Type-C USB cable. The device has a 3.7V 4000mAh Li-ion battery. A full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours and provides up to 6 hours of normal working time.
  3. Slå på/av: Press and hold the Power Button located on the top of the device to turn it on or off.

6.1 OTDR-test

The OTDR function is used to characterize optical fibers. It measures fiber length, loss, attenuation parameters, and generates an event map to locate link points and fusion points.

  • Note: This 1310nm/1550nm model cannot test live fiber.
