5. Oppsett
5.1 Installasjon av batteri
- Sørg for at multimeteret er slått av.
- Finn batterirommet på baksiden av enheten.
- Use the included screwdriver to open the battery cover.
- Insert three (3) AAA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Lukk batteridekselet godt.
5.2 Tilkobling av testledninger
Connect the test leads to the appropriate input terminals based on the measurement you intend to perform. The multimeter features light indicators to help ensure correct connections.
- COM Terminal (Black Lead): Always connect the black test lead to the COM (common) terminal.
- VÅHz Terminal (Red Lead): For voltage, motstand, frekvens, kapasitans, diode og kontinuitetsmålinger.
- mAμA Terminal (Red Lead): For målinger av små strømstyrker (milliamperes, microamperes).

6. Bruksanvisning
To operate the multimeter, turn the rotary dial to the desired function. Use the 'FUNC' button to cycle through sub-functions if available within a dial setting.

6.3 Måling av strøm (AC/DC)
- Turn the rotary dial to the 'A—' (DC Current) or 'A~' (AC Current) position.
- For currents up to 10A, connect the red test lead to the '10A' terminal. For smaller currents, use the 'mAμA' terminal. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal.
- Viktig: Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit to measure current.

6.4 Måling av motstand

6.6 Målefrekvens
- Vri dreieknappen til «Hz»-posisjonen.
- Connect the red test lead to the VÅHz terminal and the black test lead to the COM terminal.
- Connect the test probes across the circuit or signal source.
- Les av frekvensverdien på displayet.
6.7 Diodetest
- Turn the rotary dial to the '†' (Diode) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the VÅHz terminal and the black test lead to the COM terminal.
- Koble den røde proben til anoden og den svarte proben til katoden på dioden.
- Et fremovervolumtage drop will be displayed. Reverse the probes; an 'OL' (Open Line) reading indicates a good diode.
6.8 Kontinuitetstest
- Turn the rotary dial to the '•))' (Continuity) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the VÅHz terminal and the black test lead to the COM terminal.

- If there is continuity (low resistance), the buzzer will sound, and the display will show a low resistance value. An 'OL' reading indicates an open circuit.

- Connect the temperature probe to the appropriate input terminals (usually VÅHz and COM, check markings on the meter).

6.10 Ikke-kontakt Voltage (NCV) Deteksjon
- Vri dreieknappen til «NCV»-posisjonen.
- Move the top end of the multimeter close to the conductor or outlet you suspect has AC voltage.
- The meter will emit an audible beep and the NCV indicator light will flash if AC voltage is detected. The display may show dashes or a relative strength indicator.

6.11 LOZ (Low Impedance) Measurement
The LOZ function is used to eliminate ghost voltages, which are false voltage readings that can appear on unused wires or open circuits due to capacitive coupling. When measuring voltage with LOZ, the meter applies a low impedance load to dissipate these ghost voltages, providing a more accurate reading of the actual voltage stede.
- Turn the rotary dial to the 'LOZ' position (if available as a direct setting or accessible via the 'FUNC' button in a voltage-området).
- Connect the test leads as you would for a standard voltage måling.

6.12 HFE (Transistor Test)
The HFE function measures the DC current gain (hFE) of bipolar junction transistors (BJTs). This helps in checking the functionality and characteristics of transistors.
- Turn the rotary dial to the 'HFE' position.
- Insert the transistor leads (Emitter, Base, Collector) into the corresponding HFE test sockets on the multimeter, ensuring correct NPN or PNP type.

7. Vedlikehold
7.1 Rengjøring

7.2 Batteribytte
Når indikatoren for lavt batterinivå vises på displayet, må du bytte batteriene raskt for å sikre nøyaktige målinger. Se avsnitt 5.1 for instruksjoner for batteriinstallasjon.
7.3 Bytte av sikring
If the current measurement function stops working, the fuse may need replacement. Always use fuses of the specified type and rating. Refer to the specifications section for fuse details. Two spare fuses are included in the package.
8. Feilsøking
- Ingen skjerm/måleren slår seg ikke på: Sjekk batteriinstallasjonen og sørg for at batteriene ikke er utladet. Skift ut om nødvendig.
- 'OL' Reading: This typically indicates an open circuit, a value exceeding the meter's range, or incorrect lead connection for the selected function.
- Unøyaktige avlesninger: Ensure test leads are properly connected, batteries are not low, and the correct function is selected for the measurement. Clean probes and terminals if dirty.
- Strømmåling fungerer ikke: Sjekk og skift ut sikringen hvis den er gått.
- NCV registrerer ikke: Ensure the NCV function is selected and the meter is brought close enough to a live AC source.
