The Einhell Professional GP-PS 18/20 Li BL-Solo is a versatile and compact cordless pruning saw designed for cutting back and shaping trees and shrubs, shredding green waste, and cutting small sections of wood. As part of the Einhell Power X-Change family, it is compatible with all batteries and chargers from this series. This tool features a brushless motor for enhanced power and extended operating time compared to traditional carbon brush motors. Its compact and lightweight design, combined with a 15 cm cutting length and a chain speed of up to 8 m/s, makes it ideal for flexible garden use.

4. Oppsett og montering

4.1. Installasjon av batteri

1. Ensure the pruning saw is switched off.
2. Align the Power X-Change battery with the battery slot on the tool.
3. Skyv batteriet inn i sporet til det klikker ordentlig på plass.
4. For å fjerne, trykk på utløserknappen på batteriet og skyv det ut.

4.2. Montering av sverd og kjede

1. Place the guide bar onto the mounting studs.
2. Carefully fit the chain around the sprocket and into the guide bar groove. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain are facing the correct direction.
3. Close the chain cover and secure it.

4.3. Kjedestramming

The pruning saw features tool-free chain tensioning for convenience.

1. Loosen the locking knob on the side of the saw.
2. Turn the red adjustment knob to increase or decrease chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
3. Once tension is correct, tighten the locking knob firmly.

4.4. Filling the Oil Reservoir for Automatic Lubrication

The pruning saw has an automatic chain lubrication system. Ensure the oil reservoir is filled before each use.

1. Finn oljebeholderlokket.
2. Unscrew the cap and use the provided filling funnel to pour appropriate chain oil into the reservoir.
3. Ikke fyll for mye. Sett korken godt på igjen.

5. Drift

5.1. Start og stopp

• For å starte: Trykk på sikkerhetslåseknappen og klem deretter på avtrekkerbryteren.
• For å stoppe: Slipp avtrekkerbryteren.

5.2. Skjæreteknikker

Always maintain a firm grip with both hands. Position yourself securely and ensure the workpiece is stable.

• Beskjæring av grener: Support the branch if necessary to prevent it from pinching the chain. Make relief cuts if the branch is heavy.
• Skjæring av tømmerstokker: Place the log on a stable surface or sawhorse. Avoid cutting into the ground.
• Unngå tilbakeslag: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Always use the bottom edge of the guide bar for cutting.

6. Vedlikehold og stell

Regelmessig vedlikehold sikrer optimal ytelse og forlenger levetiden til beskjæringssagen din.

6.1. Rengjøring

• Fjern alltid batteriet før rengjøring.
• Bruk en børste eller trykkluft til å fjerne sagflis og rusk fra sverdet, kjedet og motorhuset.
• Tørk av utsiden med annonseamp klut. Ikke bruk sterke kjemikalier.

6.2. Kjedesliping og -utskifting

• A dull chain reduces cutting efficiency and increases kickback risk. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary.
• The chain and guide bar can be replaced without tools by following the assembly instructions in Section 4.2.

6.3. Oiling System Check

• Regularly check the oil level in the reservoir.
• Ensure the automatic lubrication system is functioning by observing oil spray from the chain during operation.
