5. Oppsett og installasjon

5.1 Kontroller før installasjon

Før du starter, må du sørge for at døren oppfyller følgende krav:

• Hole in Door Face: 2 1/8" diameter

5.2 Mekanisk installasjon

1. Juster sikkerhetslåsen: If necessary, adjust the deadbolt latch to match your door's backset (60mm or 70mm). Rotate the bolt to extend or shorten it. Ensure the word "TOP" on the latch faces upward.
2. Installer deadbolt-låsen: Insert the adjusted deadbolt latch into the door edge. Secure it with the provided screws from the accessory kit.
3. Monter den utvendige enheten: Ensure the cylinder tailpiece is horizontal. Route the cable from the exterior assembly through the hole below the bolt. Carefully align the exterior assembly with the deadbolt latch and press it onto the door.
4. Install the Interior Assembly Mounting Plate: Route the cable through the bottom hole of the mounting plate. Align the mounting plate with the exterior assembly and secure it using the appropriate screws (Screws D) for your door thickness.

5.3 Initial Setup & Calibration

1. Installer batterier: Insert 4 AA batteries into the interior assembly. Ensure correct polarity. Close the battery cover.
2. Perform Direction Calibration: Keep the bolt in the unlocked position. Press and hold the "5" button on the keypad for 3 seconds. The lock will automatically run the door-handling process, confirming the correct orientation.
3. App Pairing (Wi-Fi Mode):
   • Sørg for at Bluetooth er aktivert på telefonen.
   • Press any button on the front panel to activate Bluetooth. Start setup within 30 seconds.
   • Open the U Home app, select "Add Device" and choose "Locks".
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your Bolt SE. You will need to enter the 6-digit Program Code found under the battery cover.
   • Connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
4. App Pairing (Matter Mode):
   • If already set up in U Home app, switch to Matter Mode via settings.
   • Ensure you have a Matter-over-Thread-compatible smart gateway fully set up and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone.
   • Insert a pin into the reset hole and hold for 3 seconds to enable Thread.
   • In your preferred smart home app (e.g., Alexa, Apple Home), select "Add Device" and choose the Matter option.
   • Scan the QR code inside the battery cover or enter the 11-digit numeric code.

6.1 Unlocking & Locking

• Fingeravtrykk-ID: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. The lock features 360° live fingerprint ID with 0.3s unlock speed and 99.8% accuracy.
• tastatur: Enter your 4-8 digit passcode on the tactile keypad. The keypad is glove-friendly and fingerprint-resistant.
• Smartphone-app: Use the U Home app to remotely lock or unlock your door from anywhere.
• Stemmekontroll: Integrate with Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Assistant to lock/unlock your door using voice commands.

6.2 User Management & Access Sharing

• Matter Mode: Control via Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant (requires a Matter Over Thread hub controller).

7. Vedlikehold

7.1 Batteribytte

The ULTRALOQ Bolt SE uses 4 AA batteries, offering up to 18 months of battery life thanks to Thread's low-energy mesh network. The lock will provide real-time low battery alerts.

• When the battery is low, replace all 4 AA batteries promptly.
• To replace, remove the interior assembly cover, replace the batteries, and reattach the cover.

7.2 Rengjøring

8. Feilsøking

• Lock not responding / Green light not coming on: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure batteries are inserted correctly. If issues persist, try removing and reinserting one battery to reset the unit.
• Fingeravtrykk ikke gjenkjent: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint in the app. Ensure the sensor is clean.
• "Lock jammed" error: This can occur if the deadbolt does not fully extend or retract. Check for obstructions in the door frame. Ensure the hole in the door frame has at least 1" depth. Loosen mounting screws slightly if they are too tight, as this can impede bolt movement.
• Connectivity issues (Wi-Fi/Matter): Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Verify your Matter-enabled hub is properly set up and connected to the same network. If the lock loses connection, try restarting the device or re-pairing through the app.
• Fjernopplåsing fungerer ikke: Confirm the lock has a stable internet connection (for Wi-Fi mode) or is properly connected to your Matter hub. Check app settings for remote unlock permissions.
