1. Viktige sikkerhetsinstruksjoner

Please read all instructions carefully before using your Olvy Electric Kettle. Retain this manual for future reference.

3. Oppsett

3.1 Utpakking

1. Ta vannkokeren og alt tilbehør forsiktig ut av emballasjen.
2. Kast all emballasje på en ansvarlig måte.
3. Undersøk vannkokeren for tegn på skade. Ikke bruk den hvis den er skadet.

3.2 Initial Cleaning (Before First Use)

1. Fill the kettle with clean water up to the maximum fill line.
2. Boil the water at 100°C (refer to Section 4.2 for operating instructions).
3. Kast det kokte vannet.
4. Repeat this process 2-3 times to ensure the kettle is thoroughly cleaned and free of any manufacturing residues.

3.3 Plassering

• Plasser strømbasen på en tørr, flat og stabil overflate.
• Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in a position where it can be tripped over.
• Keep the kettle away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and moisture.

4. Bruksanvisning

4.1 Fylle vannkokeren

1. Fjern kjelen fra kraftbasen.
2. Åpne lokket.
3. Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the minimum (MIN) mark or above the maximum (MAX) mark indicated on the water level indicator.
4. Lukk lokket godt.
5. Place the kettle back onto its power base.

4.2 Selecting Temperature and Boiling

1. Plug the power base into a suitable electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
2. On the touchscreen display, select your desired temperature: 40°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C, or 100°C. You can also use the '+' and '-' buttons to fine-tune the temperature up to 100°C.
3. Trykk på av / på-knappen (⏻) to start the heating process. The display will show the current water temperature as it heats.
4. Once the selected temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off.

4.3 Using the Keep Warm Function

1. After selecting your desired temperature and starting the heating process, press the 'Keep Warm' button (often indicated by 'SSS' or a similar icon) on the touchscreen.
2. The kettle will heat the water to the selected temperature and then maintain it for up to 2 hours.
3. To deactivate the 'Keep Warm' function, press the button again or remove the kettle from the base.

5. Vedlikehold

5.1 Rengjøring utvendig

• Trekk alltid ut støpselet til vannkokeren og la den avkjøles helt før rengjøring.
• Tørk av utsiden av kjelen med en myk, damp klut.
• Ikke bruk slipende rengjøringsmidler eller skuresvamper, da de kan ripe opp overflaten.
• Senk aldri vannkokeren eller kraftbasen i vann.

5.2 Avkalking

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Regular descaling helps maintain performance and prolong the kettle's lifespan.

1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution according to its instructions.
2. Boil the solution (at 100°C) and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
3. Pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
4. For gjenstridige avleiringer, skrubb forsiktig innsiden med en ikke-slipende børste eller svamp.
5. The anti-limescale filter can be removed for cleaning. Rinse it under running water and reinsert it correctly.

5.3 Oppbevaring

When not in use, ensure the kettle is clean, dry, and unplugged. Store it in a cool, dry place.
