The Geevon Model 8667 is a multi-functional wireless weather station designed to provide accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, along with a 12-24 hour weather forecast, moon phase display, and an alarm clock. Its 5.9-inch color LCD touchscreen offers clear visibility and easy interaction. The station supports up to three wireless outdoor sensors, allowing for comprehensive monitoring of various locations.

3. Installasjonsinstruksjoner

3.1 Strømtilførsel til hovedenheten

1. Insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. These batteries serve as backup power.
2. For continuous backlight and optimal display, connect the included USB power cable to the main unit and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or USB port.

Note: The adjustable and continuous backlight feature requires the main unit to be plugged in via the USB cable. When running on batteries alone, the backlight will only illuminate for 10 seconds after pressing the SNZ/LIGHT button.

3.2 Powering the Outdoor Sensor

1. Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the wireless outdoor sensor.
2. Ensure the channel switch inside the battery compartment is set to Channel 1 (default). If using multiple sensors, set each to a different channel (1, 2, or 3).

3.3 Sensorparing

Once both the main unit and the outdoor sensor are powered on, they will automatically attempt to pair. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings should appear on the main unit's display within a few minutes. If pairing fails:

• Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 200ft/60m in an open area).
• Press and hold the "CHANNEL" button on the main unit to initiate a manual search for the sensor.
• Press the "TX" button inside the outdoor sensor's battery compartment to send a signal.

3.4 Initial Settings (Time, Date, C/F)

Refer to the specific buttons on your device (usually labeled "SET", "MODE", "UP", "DOWN") to adjust the following:

• Tid og dato: Press "SET" or "MODE" to cycle through settings like year, month, day, hour, minute. Use "UP" and "DOWN" to adjust values.
• Temperature Unit (C/F): Press the "C/F" button (often labeled with a thermometer icon) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• 12/24-timers format: This setting is usually adjusted during the initial time setup.

3.5 Plassering

The weather station offers flexible placement options:

• Utendørs sensor: Mount the sensor in a shaded, dry location outdoors, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it near metal objects that could interfere with wireless transmission.

4.1 Skjerm overview

The 5.9-inch LCD display shows various information:

The weather station allows you to set customizable high and low alerts for both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. Consult your manual for specific button sequences (typically involving holding "ALERT" or "SET" and using "UP"/"DOWN" to adjust thresholds).
