Handling, Maintenance and Safety

• Please DO NOT place heavy objects on your E-reader; failure to do so may result damage to the display panel.
• Touch panel surface easily have scratch damage, please operate with care, and avoid contact damage with other object.
• Touch screen with your finger on display, DO NOT use of sharp or metallic objects may cause scratch and damage.

• Before cleaning the equipment, the power must be cut off. Please DO NOT use alcohol, liquid or spay type of detersive to clean the equipment.

Komme i gang

Hjem

When starting the SwayTosh E-reader NOVA PRO for the first time, it goes directly to the HOME screen. You can set the language in Settings (explained later in this manual).
The Home screen shows the bookshelf. Press Home or Bookshelf to view book covers. Tap a cover to start reading. You can also search, sort, multi-select and create folders.

Knapper

• Home button – Return to the Home screen
• Refresh button – Manually refresh to remove ghosting
• Load button – Choose normal or fast loading (fast loading may reduce display quality)
• Hamburger menu – Access extra options, including importing books (explained later)

Varslingslinje

Swipe down from the top to open the notification bar.

Apps / booktransfer

In this section you find 2 main options:

• Google Play Store – Log in with your Google account to download apps (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, Storytel, etc.)
• Book Transfer – Pre-installed app (in English) for transferring books.

1. Booktransfer USB connection
   Transfer books directly via USB cable to PC.
2.  Booktransfer Wifi connection
   Transfer books wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network, follow the on-screen steps. Within a few seconds to one minute after uploading, books appear under: Home –> Hamburger menu –> Import local book.
3. Booktransfer Cloud
   With a cloud app (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), upload books via smartphone/PC to the cloud. Open the app on your e-reader to view and download them.

In the settings menu you can check the device model/ version and change preferences.

1. 256 Gray Scale
   On/Off, improves quality with 256 grayscale levels.
2. Kontrast
   Juster skjermkontrasten.
3. Wi-Fi-innstillinger
   Connect/manage Wi-Fi networks.
4. Dato og tid
   Set date, time, timezone.
5. Bluetooth
   Turn Bluetooth on/off, manage devices.
6. Sikkerhet
   Configure passwords/screen lock.
7.  Strømstyring
   Set sleep/auto power-off.
8. Utstilling
   Adjust font size and display options.
9. Språk og input
   Choose system language, adjust keyboard/input.
10. Fabrikkinnstilt
    Restore factory defaults (erases all data).
11. Reset Google Play
    Reset Play Store configuration.
12. Om produktet
    Device info: model number, firmware, updates.

Reading function

With the SwayTosh E-reader NOVA PRO, you can easily open, browse, and close books. The e-reader always remembers your last reading position, so you can continue reading where you left off.

Open a book
Tap a cover in the bookshelf.

Navigasjon

• Tap middle = open menu
• Tap right = next page
• Tap left = previous page.

Close a book
Close via menu. When reopened, the device returns to the last page read.

Feilsøking

1. Nettverksfeil
   Flytt til et område med bedre signal.
2. Enheten vil ikke slå seg på
   Battery empty; recharge fully.
3. Berøringsskjermen reagerer ikke
   Issues may be caused by screen protector, gloves, dirty fingers, sharp objects, moisture, or outdated software.
   Restart or update device.
4. Crashes/overheating
   Restart, force restart (hold power 10s), or factory reset (back up first).
5. Nettverksproblemer
   Weak Wi-Fi; move closer to access point and avoid interference.
6. Battery icon empty
   Lad batteriet.
7. Batteriet lader ikke
   Check USB port and/or replace charger.
8. Batteriet tømmes raskt
   Extreme temperatures reduce performance; batteries naturally wear out.
9. Datatap
   Regularly back up your data. SwayTosh is not responsible for loss/misuse

1. Within 2 years of purchase, with valid proof, you are entitled to free repair for quality issues under normal use.
